Adjusting Our Sails

Governor Tom Wolf extended the "Stay at Home" order until Friday, May 8th. At that time, it appears the state will reopen businesses in phases. Though the cleaning industry as a whole is listed as essential, not all sectors in the industry are considered as such. i.e., in-home housekeeping/cleaning services. It has been confusing as a small business navigating the waters of this pandemic. Believing that it was in the best interest of our clients and employees, McCartin's chose to discontinue all in-home and in-office cleaning during this shutdown. We are ready to adjust our sails to begin working again, albeit in a very different environment.

We recognize that many of our customers are eager to reschedule previous appointments and book new appointments. We will begin to schedule work on May 1st for clients in Bucks County, Montgomery County, and Philadelphia, PA. Unless Gov. Wolf extends a critical lockdown for those areas beyond May 8th, we plan to be back to work.

Additionally, we are following Governor Murphy's direction and will reconvene our work for NJ clients as soon as the State of New Jersey permits.

Please know that going forward, we will operate a bit differently. Please read our COVID-19 information page for more information on what you can expect from McCartin's and what we expect from you.

As always, we wish you and your family stay healthy and safe.
